Well, according to Alex Krassyuk (K2 Ukraine) they are still waiting for the reply from Povetkin's team.
He also dispelled the rumors that there were any negotiations with Helenius...

Sooner the better. Getting sick of the hype of this puny Usyk. Will be opening a big tube of pringle's when he outboxes Povetkin, and is knocked out in the very last round. Then I can say serves your right, for buying the hype!

Tough fight for Usyk who is the favourite to win but if he allows himself tonget hit anywhere near as much as he did against Bellew then we might see an upset.

The only question here is how much does Povetkin take before it's over, 7 rounds,9?

OK, will just add the weight of that to the four more belts he's going to win up at HW and all the The Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year ones he's going to be awarded in the next few years and you'll be able to calculate the total.

I think so,too!! Even this old cversio of Povetkin is still able to wipe the floor with likes of Whyte,Parker,Chisora and Rivas. And a fight against him is no sure bet for either Wilder or Fury.
If true, stupid matchmaking. The boring Cuban Ortiz as well as the overrated Whyte wpuld be far better opponents for Usyk.Far less dangerous and better known in the most important pro markets.Or Breazale .He looked like a true journeyman in his last fight.Povekin would beat him black and blue

If the fight with usyk doesn’t happen I’d like to see povetkin vs Ortiz or Whyte next
