Is it still in place, now the WBC has made it a 2 belt affair instead of IBF only? (Girl's Best Friend belt)
The IBF stated that they wouldn't enforce it when multiple belts were at stake, because of the GGG vs Jacobs situation.

Didn't seem to have an affect on Jacobs in his last fight.

It most definitely is an advantage to Canelo, but will it have an effect on the fight?

If you're the IBF champ and you cry about this then you are in the wrong division.

I've been saying it for a while: That Jacobs will never again KO a legit top 10 contender. He got a KO over Quillin who was chinny, and he might stop Lemieux, but thats it.
Jacobs only ever looked great in 1 fight, and that was Golovkin. Since then it's almost as if Jacobs has regressed.

Jacbos is going to surprise Canelo and come in heavy, that's the only way Jacbos can beat Canelo because Canelo has every advantage over Jacbos but size...

Yes, Jacobs will give up a nice chunk of his purse for a few pounds. Don't be ridiculous.
Canelo was 174 vs Angulo(unofficially) and likely still is in that range. Is Jacobs going to dehydrate up to 20lbs to gain a few pounds?
