How? He landed on Tua all night without stopping him. Vitali had an iron chin. Tuas chin was good but Vitali has to be near the top.

I see some here wrote Klieckoes had a chin of steel, but other than Lewis ( Who stopped him in 6rds BTW) how many CAPABLE big punchers did he face? And his intestinal fortitude is very suspect in my opnion they way he lost to C.Byrd. ( Same C.Byrd Ibeabuchi damn near killed a yr earlier ) Sorry , but Ibeabuchi would be all wrong for the Robotic Klieckoes, a aggressive hard punching swarmer type fighter ( who DID have a steel like chin judging by the shots a in shape and ready to fight Tua landed on him, this fight was the best Tua ever looked btw) against a stiff legged one-two European style fighter. I see Ibeabuchi forcing Klieckoes to do what he couldn't do. Fight going backwards, not allowing him to get any leverage on his best weapon his straight right hand. Klieckoes would quit or get ko'ed before the 8thrd.

Ike wins. Vitali's legacy is mostly based on losing against an old and out of shape Lewis.

Nah, i'm not your man here, think i've only seen Ike fight once. Maybe twice but i've memory of only watching the last round of the Byrd fight. Anyway, Vitali

I saw Ike on practically a daily basis while he was training in Dallas & Ft Worth Texas. Was ringside at almost all his fights too. Curtis Cokes had molded Ike into a great boxer puncher It was a tragedy what happened

Any insider info you can share with us? What was he like in the gym? What were his workouts like?

Great matchup. Ike has the better wins, better power, and better durability. Anything could happen but most likely I'd expect him to get Vitali in trouble a few times while handling everything Vitali throws his way, en route to a clear decision win.

He respected Curtis more than anyone. Curtis was boss in the gym. He had problems when he was taken away from Dallas for a while. Ike had the tools to take him to the top Curtis got him there
It was a tragedy for both

I figured you would pick Vilati tbh. So much depends on whether Vitali can keep him off i reckon. Ike looked extremely hard to discourage during his little run.

Yep, Ike has a much better legacy. I really like how he KOed green Byrd and went life and death with a second tier fighter Tua. What a spectacular career.
