Is there any size advantage either way in Jacobs vs Canelo?

Camelo ehas lost size. He looked huge from 2015-2017, like bursting at the seams big

His size in the Cotto and Khan fights was outrageous but he isn't that pumped up looking anymore (based on the GGGG rematch) so he will probably be 175 tops.

    Jacob will be 180ish

Jacob is the bigger guy but it won't really matter that much because of the styles.

Canelo is a sharper, more accurate puncher so Jacobs will want to stay at long range. I don't see him getting close to canelo. Canelo's combinations would be too sharp at close range imo.

So he will want to try to stay behind his reach, making the size less of a factor

ofcourse there is. If Jacobs wanted to put extra weight on his frame he easily can.

Canelo is roided out at 168 lbs.

Everyone keeps saying Clenelo is a "tank" as if that means something or is advantageous.

The size that matters in boxing is height and length.

Clen is 5'7" and Jacobs is 5'11", four inches is quite significant. Jacobs probably has a six inch reach advantage.

Both guys refuse fight night weights these days, but if they were taken i'd bet Clenelo is at 174lbs and Jacobs 180lbs.

There's no rule that makes fighters weigh-in on the day of the fight. Its perfectly allowable to refuse and everybody does.

I'd like to know what GGG weighted for the rematch. He looked gigantic next to little Canelo. :sisi2:

He has to knock him out , & I think he can just not sure he will.

What I do know is he should go out on his shield trying.... there is NO Bigger/lucrative fight for him then this.

I think the 10 pound rehydration clause hurts both. They both are light heavyweights on fight night. Jacobs is taller but has short arms.

I somehow doubt the clause will be for both fighters

I think Jacobs is the bigger man, though Canelo is a tank.

There is a reason Jacobs sacked off the 170lb second weigh in limit against GGG and it was Golden Boy who forced him to agree to it this time.

The juicing, beefing and strength training in the last few years have added extra mass to his frame.
