AJ says in this his best interview that he studied how Foreman controlled opponets by posting his arms and keeping opponents off showing he`s a student of te game, this is a brilliant interview, is AJ`s IQ in and out of the ring underrated? He is focused as hell.

That's good to hear. Foreman's efficient footwork and walking hook are two things that would make Joshua the most dangerous guy in the division. Also, Joshua does seem to have a good ring IQ despite his inexperience, since when Wlad rocked him he was smart enough to go down and take a count rather than staying on his feet and risk getting stopped.

Joshua does seem to me to be a rather cerebral fighter, he'd have to be to get where he is now, having gotten into the sport so late. So not a surprise he's a student of the game and likes to study other fighters to try and pick up new techniques and tricks.

I think his ring smarts and strategy really showed in the parker fight

he has his flaws but I think he is a pretty smart fighter

You mean he was laid out by Klitschko and then hugged his way to the bell and gave himself more time by gobbing out his shield.

Dude, Wlad legit put him down. It wasn't Joshua deciding to take a knee.
But he did keep his composure throughout, and that is something to admire.

Yes Frank Bruno used to turn into a zombie when he was caught with a good shot, AJ says he`s ben watching former champs and tries some of their moves to see if they work for him, very pro attitude, I saw a study explaining Foreman`s walking hook and a clip of him finishing Cooney using this move and an uppercut I think, it was one of his most devastating KO victories.

I didn`t see him clinch, he reeled back on the ropes and blocked six follow up hooks, re-watch that round mate.

Hugged WK a couple of times but should never have been let off the hook, younger Wlad would have finished him.

Joshua's a good learner and has a very good coach. He will continue to get better and is going to be very difficult to beat.

Hes obviously not the most fluid or natural of boxers but is still pretty skilled alongside his obviousy physical strengths.

I'd love to see him fight Wilder which i think would be a beatdown by Joshua but doesn't look like the fight will happen this decade

As I have said for decades, George Foreman was a lot smarter a fighter than the haters and "casuals" give him credit for.

Also, in his comeback, his balance was second to none.

    That's smart and shows intelligence.

If it was one of those "I'm from the streets yo" idiots, they would have gotten up and then blasted out and never psychologically recovered from it.

This is exactly what will happen to Jarell Miller.
