Vitaly had a long career and he beat a lot of fighters like Sanders, Peter, Hide, Briggs, Arreola, Gomez, Johnson and Solis. Many of them were title holders. Was a lineal champ. Ike won a close dec over a limited Tua and a green Byrd and that's it...
Ike. He did everything Vitali did but a touch better. He was faster and seemed to have just a tad more dog in him, too. He was a killer!
LOL, that is the Murderes row right there.................how old was Briggs again Conclusion : VK resume is filled with nothing but cannon fodder.......................and green Byrd tk'od VK. Fact : TKO6 .. top tier "win"
If that was wilders resume when he retired then all we'd hear is how he only beat bums. Since vit this somehow becomes a solid resume
This one is no brainer, late round stoppage for Ibeabuchi, he takes Vitali into deep waters and roughs him up along the way
VK doesn't have the power to really intimidate Ike into not throwing punches The way Lewis did with the for example. Therefore I see Ike eventually drowning VK in his workrate, especially once he gets inside and finds that body. Ike could jab as displayed vs Tua and move his head and get inside like we saw when he hunted down Byrd. He has the tools to really trouble VK because of his tremendous workrate which VK as a "big man" won't be able to match.
Tua takes a much better punch and never stops coming forward... Vitali becomes visibly uncomfortable when ragged clean... And he did KO Chris Byrd, who made Vitali quit on his stool
Vitali was never knocked down or even hurt. Tua was put down twice by Monte Barret, and they weren't flash KDs, either.
