Fury's kids are already taken care of.. He really didn't need to take the deal, because

    1) He will not make anywhere near the speculated amount

    2) he would make ridiculous amounts fighting Wilder and Joshua

    3) He has now put himself in the position of potentially being frozen out after falling out with both Wilder's and Joshua's team who will be reluctant to do business with him because of his reputation of messing people around and the fact he holds no belts so they don't really need him.

Once either Joshua or Wilder become unified champion, they will be crowned king and would be able to retire without having to fight Fury, beause everyone will know it was Fury who ducked out of rematches.

The good news is that fury will be able to retire with money in the bank content that he had a smoke and mirrors career lying about his intentions and character.

I’m talking about DAZN in general. You’re zooming in to one tiny bit of their business and assuming their whole model relies on that. It doesn’t.

Yes there was a thread in General on this topic.
I think financially DAZN is just fine and having both Canelo and AJ is as solid of a foundation as you can get in the US.

The only freak fight relevant here is the freak fight going on in your head! Arum clearly ordered and interim fight, it was the first comment he made after the deal was signed.

You think Wilder should've won the first fight. Nuff said. Goodluck with that.

Fury will fight 5 bums, I promise. Quote me in fact and then you will call me mystic meg again.

Tell me what did Fury do to win the fight?

Let me ask you, is fury undefeated? Because many think and I believe rightly so that he lost to John Dermott?

Why would anyone care wether he lost to McDermott or not? In my opinion he did lose, but I don't care, because he avenged the loss. He was also just a kid at the time. No bid deal, but weirdos like you fixate on these non-issues, driven by a peculiar hatred of fighters.

Erm, Tyson won nine, possibly ten rounds of the fight against Wilder. 90% of boxing fans/pundits agree he won the fight. But let me guess, you're one of the 10% genius', aren't you?

So why do you fans like you keep trotting out that he's undefeated if you believe he lost that fight?

I would advise to be careful not to make the mistake of confusing truth with popularity. Most boxing fans/pundits have their agenda and bias and cannot view things objectively hence, why the majority are attempting to justify Fury's latest decision to avoid fighting for a title so he can fight bums.

As for your scoring, did not win 10 rounds, that is delusion especially when both fighters are landing equaling the same amount of punches it's impossible. The only difference is. Fury was mainly retreating being negative through having to hold on and spoil throughout periods.

His main success was in defence. Every punch he did landed he had the crowd and commentary behind him overplaying it which managed to sway the opinion of viewers in his favor. However it did not sway the judges who have a specific criteria to how they judge each round. I.e effective aggression, ring generalship, hard and clean punches along with defense. Now Wilder throughout the fight was the sole aggressor and he landed the most meaningful hard and clean punches. The only area Fury trumped Wilder in was in defense and his defense throughout wasn't as great as made out considering he ended up on the canvas twice and these were not flash knock downs.

Being kind you could argue Fury won 5-6 rounds at most and that's being generous. So if we are kind we cannot say a draw is a robbery, it's flattening to Fury and I'm sure he is aware and proud of the draw otherwise he would have a burning desire to put it right.

Lastly I don't hate Fury, yes he disgusts me now, however I use to respected and support Fury before he turned into a full blown corporate puppet who no longer wishes to be responsible for who he fights

Save your breath and your time man. I'm not bothered reading any more unconditional hatred. There's already more than enough of it on this forum. Cool story about previously being a fan by the way, but I've read that novel before.

    Have a good day.

I will say one last thing though. Can you not see the hliarty in the fact that you're not only in the tiny percentage of people who blame Fury's win v Klitschko on WK's alleged personal issues outside the ring, but also the tiny percentage of people who thought Wilder beat Fury? :D It's hilarious. If you dropped one of those ridiculous arguments, the other might gain a fraction of credibility. But no, you come on here with your unconditional hatred, picking apart everything a great champion has done in his career, and actually harbour the idiocy to believe posters on here will see you as anything but a sad, hateful weirdo.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, anyone who spends hours of a day hating on a fighter, a successful fighter at that, has major, major, issues. Whatever about praising a fighter, or indeed criticising a fighter, but spending hours and hours hating on a fighter simply can't be the behaviour of a normal dude. Your self esteem must be rock bottom mate. God bless ya!

Joshua would starch that glass jawed fraud early. However, it is unlikely that Wilder's management will allow him to get in the ring with him. Their strategy is to face the least risk "opposition" as possible

    Don't worry, no hard feelings.

I understand it must be difficult to register any posts which doesn't include any of these hysterical statements

''he's doing it for his kids''

''He's got nothing to prove he was robbed, why get robbed again?''

''Everybody knows he won the fight''

''He was 300lbs over weight, inactive, depressed and still came back and schooled Wilder lolz ''

''The Gypsy king trolled Wilder lolz''

''Wilder's a bum, Fury is lineal champion''

Anything which deviates from those sentiments is considered hate

He raises a good point; if you consider Tyson still undefeated on the basis that you disagree with the Wilder result you can't keep that logic running when literally nobody thinks he beat McDermott including yourself.

I didn't blame his win on Wlad's personal problems.

I simply stated he was going through a host of problems which could have meant he was having an off night. Which is why there was so much intrigue involving the rematch until Fury messed Wlad about.

You can't articulate your own points as to why you even think Fury won, you have just gone for the cookie cutter approach and repeated what others believed happened even though we know it's impossible for him to have won 10 rounds.

It's funny that you don't get defensive when there are other fighters who's career's are being critiqued on here. You join in and bash them yourself, but when it's your hero you want to act as if he's being picked on.

Let me remind you that it was only a few days ago he decided to announce to the world that he's signing with EPSN and will now venture forward in an attempt to secure fights with the likes of Seferi.

I am vehemently criticising fury in this moment in time, simply due to the fact there hasn't been an significant amount of backlash in regards to his blatant ducking and ruining the promising rivalry that was building up between the top three heavyweights. In contrast had this been Wilder or Joshua pulling out of a purse bid with no significant opponent as an alternative option, there would be endless threads critiscising them and you would mostly likely be on the forefront.

I would have more respect for you, if you just said outright that you don't want to hear anyone question or criticse Fury. At least you would be an honest fanboy.

See, all this 'major issues' stuff makes you look pretty weird yourself. I doubt you really think someone who dislikes Fury, finds him boring, wants him to lose and so on has 'major major issues.' You come across as pretty paranoid about the whole thing in fairness. Any time someone pops up criticising him you're going on like some swivel-eyed conspiracy theorist about how Hearn is paying trolls to make Fury look bad on a message board with about thirty active posters.

Post A.) I've never said any of those things. I call it how it is and give everyone a fair shake, unlike you.

Post B.) Doesn't really bother me wether he's undefeated or not, since he's undefeated at world level, where it really matters. When Fury fought McDermott, he was at an age most fighters are losing at amateur level, including Anthony Joshua. These things happen during the apprenticeship, amateur and pro. The fact Fury had the courtesy to rematch McDermott, and stop him, makes it a non-issue. Yet strange men like you guys are fixated on it. It's completely bizarre. It makes no logical sense whatsoever that grown men would obsess over a poor scorecard in the early years of an apprentice fighters career, when he rectified the poor scorecard with a stoppage defeat. Seriously lads, do you not see how weird you're coming across?

Life's too short to worry about Tyson Fury's rectified controversial win over John McDermott when he was 21 or whatever. Please, for your own sake, take my advice.
