What are Mikey's chances against Errol Spence, REALISTICALLY?

never see either turn their back and run even may has been called a runner but I've never seen any run the same way as lara

 

Funny, I guess if you tell yourself something long enough, you might actually start to believe it. I never seen lara turn his back and run. I could see how a canelo fan could call that running. Ring generalship is what I call it. You see, canelo started off the fight trying to put box lara. He went down 4-0 and was forced to go to plan B and press the fight or be content on losing. Lara was in full control. Also, it’s not enough to come forward and throw punches at air and glove when you are getting 1, 2d all night unless you are canelo I guess and you generate so much money that everybody gets paid from top to bottom. Refs, judges, commission all. Lara won that fight easy. Canelo got credit for bodyshots that never landed. If they landed, canelo must be featherfisted or lara has armour because he finished strong.
I had hurd edging lara but canelo couldn’t land ****. How did he win other then show up and have 2 scorecards already filled out. Anybody who had canelo beating lara doesn’t understand boxing.

 

I wish mikey would win because I really think spence is not that good.. just big for his weight. and way overated lol.

 

Big difference in making a career out of being 20+ lbs heavier then every opponent you face and giving 10lbs hydration clauses to anybody you size then fighting a guy who called you out.

Cds (canelo derangement syndrome) is people who thought canelo beat lara. Not people calling a duck a duck.

If you didn’t have lara beating canelo you should learn how to score a fight.

 

"Getting caught" could equal "getting tired". I can see Garcia bagging rounds early (Spence Jr is kind of a slow starter and Garcia is fantastic at neutralizing rangier opponents) - but I don't see him not tiring at 147 lbs over 12 rounds. Skill and styles are on Mikey's side - time is not.

 

The fight was similar to de la Hoya Trinidad but where oscar gassed, Lara finished strong.
I watched the fight over 100x and atleast 20x in slow motion. I know who won the fight.

I give Mikey a 40% chance...but regardless I could see Mikey doing better than expected. If Spence (who I like a lot) doesn’t take this fight seriously, things could go badly for him. Two of my favorite fighters but I’m pulling for Mikey because I respect the fact he’s daring to be great.

 

Everyone has a chance when they get into the ring. Win or lose, Mikey is showing how one dares to be great.

 

Better than what people are thinking if he can land some body punches early and sees the mid rounds.

 

Not significantly different from zero..
