    I really liked him even though he was a Soviet. That John Molina loss must made him feel deflated but if he watched the Thurman vs Lopez fight he should give it another shot. Those PBC guys are ripe for the beating.

    Zeljko Mavrovic held the European Heavyweight Championship from 1995 to 1998.

    On September 26, 1998, he challenged [url]WBC[/url] Heavyweight Champion [url]Lennox Lewis[/url] and lost by a [url]12-round unanimous decision[/url].

    Mavrovic never fought again after the Lewis fight, his only loss as a professional.

    He was scheduled to face [url]Hasim Rahman[/url] in 1999, but he withdrew due to a knee injury.

    Reportedly, Mavrovic was later kept out of the ring by a debilitating muscle-wasting disease that caused him to lose a great deal of weight.

    Mavrovic planned to return to the ring as a cruiserweight against [url]Enad Licina[/url] in 2013, but he pulled out of the fight after he broke his ribs during a sparring session.

    I wouldn't say he disappeared. He made it very clear that he is done boxing and his heart is not anymore there. Can't blame the guy, he had some crazy wars and wasn't scared to get hit for sure.

    Steven Luevano. I heard he retired after his defeat against Juanma and pursued career as police officer. Got the news long after his last fight. One of the boxer I was quite fond of.
