Seems Carl F. is struggling with the boredom of retirement, creating accounts on discussion forums so he can big up knocking out Groves as the peak of British boxing.

Lewis, Calzaghe, Hatton, Joshua, Fury, Hamed, Benn, Eubank, Honeyghan etc. all nothing compared to knocking out George Groves apparently.

I can't believe George caught the bus to Wembley, you would of thought that on the biggest night of his life he would of at least shelled out for a cab...

    Same.

The first fight was a thriller and the ending of the rematch. They are now iconic moments in British boxing but I couldn’t understand the huge appeal, not that i was complaining,It was great.

Still gives away me goosebumps that. I was there in decent seats and it was an amazing atmosphere, really good night of British boxing

I was there in semi decent seats. Was thankful I didn’t have any drunken idiots around me to spoil things. Also met the legend Gary McCallister that night.

Fully agree, but the fans, casuals and any man in the street, longed for a big domestic rivalry, whislt it didn't have the benn Eubank feel to it. The platform froch groves was built upon, the head to head, the mind games, the genuine dislike between them, the old guard vs new guard, even the premature stoppage in the first fight, just mixed so well and created the spectatle at Wembley

How come the thread about Fury not giving his purse to charity disappeared?
