Good fight for Joe. Not top table, but as good as he can hope for.
Joe will be too quick for tough but "Old Man" Chisora, who never gets a decision.

"Joseph Parker v Dereck Chisora could be back on with more suitable July date lined up for London.

British boxing promoter Eddie Hearn is trying to lure Joseph Parker back to Britain for a July 13 fight with Dereck Chisora.

Attempts to get a Parker v Chisora fight in London on April 20 fell over as negotiations stalled and the Kiwi decided his preparation time would be compromised too much.

A mid-July fight would allow Parker sufficient time for a full training camp with his coach Kevin Barry in Las Vegas before switching to London for fight night.
Hearn told IFL TV he has the July date pencilled in for Dillian Whyte to headline a card against a yet to be announced opponent."

"I want to make Parker-Chisora for the undercard," Hearn told IFL TV.

Parker's promoter David Higgins of Duco Boxing has said they would still be interested in fighting Chisora if the timing and money was right.

It still appeals as an ideal fight for Parker to get back into the title mix.

Chisora's new trainer David Coldwell remains interested in seeing the Parker fight made.

"I don't know why the fight has fallen out of bed, it's unfortunate. It's a good fight, but maybe it can happen down the line," Coldwell told Sky Sports in the UK.

"They are the kind of fights that Derek wants. He wants the big fights, the meaty fights, but at the moment in the heavyweight landscape, everyone seems to be locked in."

This is not an easy fight for Parker by any means.

Not easy, but it looks like he might be growing into his body.
Some heavies mature later than others, and Joe is still young (27)

If he gets the Mongrel, he'll be hard for anyone

If the same Chisora shows up as in the Whyte fight, he will beat Parker by UD.

I'm sure Joe will go in to the ring against the very experienced Chisora, thinking just what you said above.

Are you serious? Serial loser Chisora to get stopped early to mid fight, he's too slow with nothing offensive enough to trouble Parker

Parker won't like the pressure, will be fighting on the back foot all night long. He doesn't have the power to hurt Chisora and lacks heart. Chisora might fight a bit dirty but he will win this. Btw Parker is a serial loser as well, got several gift decisions.

Parker could implement the forgotten Kabayel blueprint
