Biding his time and waiting for more munchkins to feed on.

Martin Murray will probably be his next victim.

I think it is more likely Callum and his handlers that want that PPV loot.

Totally disagree. Smith's had to wait ages to get a big fight, it was long overdue. I'd be pretty disappointed if, after all that build up, he goes straight for the 'routine defences'. No thanks, strike while the iron's hot I say. He's earned his number 1 status. I'd like to see him go and cement it rather than hold it hostage.

The fact that 6 months has now gone by since that big win against Groves is mismanagement in my book.

If you are waiting for chess pieces to move into position for a so called “big fight” he should have still had a run out by now.

If he has some ticking over fight in May that will mean it will only be by September at the earliest that he can have another meaningful contest.

Bit of a crap excuse, he'd still get to see more of his kid while training for a fight than an ordinary 9-5 bloke does

Appreciate the sentiment but 9/10 of us are not in a position to take 5/6/7 months are and some are, if we could we would. And you can't disagree with that.

From what I heard Callum made a lot of money for the groves fight and can't get motivated to get back in the ring yet. I'm sure he will get back in at some point but hearn has been trying to get him back in but Callum isn't interested.

True but he gets plenty of time off between fights anyway. Plus a baby just shits, sleeps and cries, he's hardly missing much for a 3 month training camp!
