What middleweight in history could have beaten a fighter as big and as powerful as Callum Smith?

I`d prefer if people didn`t bother saying Ray Leonard because Lalonde wasn`t anywhere near as good as Smith, so is there anyone? I suppose Ezzard Charles because he had some fights at middle but lets say middleweight champs instead, Bob Fitzimmons? Was he a middle champ though? Anyone else? Ketchel?

What are you saying? Jones was obviously a Fraud and a Bum.
    Leonard would beat him, definitely.

    Callum Smith takes Jones soul.

Was Bob Fitzsimmons a middleweight champion?? That is yr question? Tell me mark, is there a sturdy oak tree in ur yard? Do you own a rope?........
As to your other question, Dwight "Tiger" Walker beats him. Probably by early knockout.

Didn't Hopkins move "down" from Lthvy to MW?

I think his first fight, but I would still qualify him as a MW

lol! I forgot about Roy Jones also, but he never beat anyone with the speed, power and size of Smith, Jones didn`t outright beat Tarver in their first fight and Ruiz didn`t have the speed of Smith, and I don`t have a yard.

Rt.....and Hopkins would turn the fight into "a typical Hopkins type fight".

Which typical his more aggressive, style of his early days or his more passive defensive counterpunching style of his later years.

Leonard never performed well at super middle he was very sloppy against Lalonde.

The Fullmer-grade style......left, right, followed by some type of butt.
    Hopkins:
    height 6′ 1″
    reach 75″

    Smith:
    Height: 6′ 3″
    Weight: 168 lbs
    Reach: 78"

In my opinion (a Charles nuthugger tbh) that he was the most skilled fighter in his prime and I wouldn't pick anyone between 160 and 200 lbs to beat him on his best night. So I obviously pick him, Jones COULD outbox him easily too, but if he's caught then it's night night. However I think Toney beats him rather convincingly as well as greats like Walker, Greb and Robinson could.
