With the recent weight gain, would Maidana (in shape) with a new adapted style be able to compete at 160 in his comeback.

Seems like in recent videos that he is trying to adapt more of the Tyson "peek a boo" style.

Common sense and logic tends to make me doubt it.

By the time he gets back into the ring, Chino will have been out of it for pushing five years and probably close to, if not actually, 36 years old. I find it difficult to believe that he's going to be able to compete with guys like GGG, Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders, Derevyanchenko etc... given that he's never fought above 147 before.

This ... I doubt this about being competitive if anything it makes the most business sense for a “Canelo-$weep-Steak!”

Hell no.... I wouldn't even expect him to compete at 154.

Seen quite a few interviews where he is fairly straight up in saying he isn't coming back... He is just trying to get healthy again!
