Re Khan, which fights did he chase that he didn't deserve? If you suggest Mayweather and Pacquiao, do you think that Khan was less deserving than Berto, Maidana, Broner, Ortiz and Algieri?
Yeah but I don't remember them guys begging , boasting about themselves and squealing like a little pig for years and stalling their career in their primes like the almighty Khan. Maybe if he had of kept his head down and actually fought and kept active and beat someone of note like a Thurman! Who was calling him out! Then he would've had a better chance of getting it instead of throwing all his toys out of the pram like a brat.
Not so much now but for a large part of his career I really didn't like David Haye. I just always saw through him with his ego, aura and conman disguise. Groves, again didn't like him during the Froch period however I appreciate him much more now. Floyd another who I didn't like but he grew on me (not his domestic cases obviously) once I appreciated his talent and dedication. Fat ref Terry in Britain was disgraceful at times.
When I read the title of this thread I couldn't think of anyone, most of what we see is pantomime in any case. I can't warm to Dominic Ingle though, even though I was a big fan of his father who was a fantastic guy, there's something about Dominic that makes me wary. Way back when I didn't like Mickey Vann, thought he was dodgy.
Not that it matters particularly, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Ingle is gay. He cares about his appearance far more than any 50 year old I’ve ever seen.
They are the fights I was suggesting yes... My problem with Khan getting those fights was he always seemed to fall at the final hurdle . There was a time when they were in touching distance... And earned! But then he fell off losing to peterson and garcia. One thing I will say for Khan despite the fact I hate listening to him talk. . You don't remember Broner gobbing off?! I get your point. Not sure Khan necessarily stalled his career mind you. Landed the Canelo fight and beat some decent opposition. For all the fact that his career will be inextricably linked to Brook that's not necessarily a bad thing as far as Khan is concerned.
Yeah I am the same, cannot warm to him. Listened to the Tris Dixon podcast with him and he normally gets the best out of people. Dominic still seemed like an arrogant twat, didn't seem to have as much love for Brendan as you would imagine.
