I'll give you that's an excellent list of accomplishments but Was it down to his prowess in the inside and speed or downright one punch KO power, I tend to believe a mix of both leaning towards the former.
And even if was down to his power, Sharkey would have to be telling the truth (and think he is) but is it enough for a top 10 powerful punchers at HW like I see him rated. I've seen people say that he hit as hard as Tyson or Lewis which I'd have to visually disagree with.

Tony Tucker tucker by a narrow decision. Imagine the tunney fights but even worse. Just too athletic, agile, tall, decent power, and a good enough chin to survive. Bad matchup.

Buster Douglas regular Douglas loses in 5. Tokyo Douglas knocks Dempsey out in 11.

Alex Stewart Dempsey ko round 9. Both men hit the deck in a thrilling slug fest.

Carl Williams Dempsey ko round 5.

Andrew Golota Golota is winning the fight 4 rounds to 2 then stomps on dempseys foot and nails him while he's immobilized. Dempsey retaliates with an elbow that shreds golotas lips. They trade then both guys are deducted points for hitting after the bell. Golota is dropped by a huge hayemaker and gets to his feet groggy. Golota is against the ropes being nailed when he clinches then does and obvious headbutt that causes a cut on Dempsey eye. A disgusted Dempsey lands a hook to the kidney and Golota is on the ground a good 10 minutes in agony. Brawl ensues. Golota is covered in trash and beer.

Tony Tubbs Tubbs manages to beat himself by not being in shape after winning the first 5 rounds.

Michael Spinks Dempsey trails for 6 rounds swinging at air then finds a way to land a huge hook after slowing him down with body shots. Spinx never recovers and is wobbly and is kod in the next round.

Dempsey would beat all them except the Tokyo version of Douglass, would have trouble with Golota though, that would be a hard fight

Tucker takes him the full fight but loses by close decision.
Against Buster ,Jack has to come from way behind to ko him.
Stewart has the ability to hurt most heavy s given a chance but I don't think he gets a shot here .Dempsey stops him in 2 .
Carl The Truth ,takes him half way thru the fight till getting tagged by a Dempsey left hook .Dempsey by ko 6.
Golota gives him a lot harder fight than most but Dempsey s body pounding has him quit in his corner after 8 round s .
Tubbs ,at his Best could take Jack to an uncomfortable decision which could be a big upset..
Spinks puts on a great display of frustrating Jack but Dempsey wear's him down for a late round s stoppage .

    Pure fan fiction.

The only halfway believable outcome is the Williams result. Someone remind (again) who are Dempsey's great victims?

Do you really think a doddering 37 year old Willard would last more than a few rounds with the best version of any of these fighters? I'm not convinced he would last against Bronco Billy Wright. Firpo gets smoked by everyone on that list. Does Tommy Gibbons, with his nonexistent heavyweight resume, last the distance with Stewart or Douglas?

I hate reading my old stuff, it's virtually ancient.

Dempsey loses to the best Douglas. Probably beats the rest.

Dempsey's technique is overrated, but his power moreso.

We all know the answer to those questions. Yes Tommy Gibbons does last the distance with Stewart and Douglas. No Firpo would not "get smoked" by everyone on that list. And 37 year old Willard would decimate Bronco Billy Wright. Absolutely decimate him.

If he's that overrated, then how do you say he beats the rest?
