Castano was more effective overall but lara seemed very much past his prime. The commentary was quite biased for lara and he was hitting castanos gloves abit as well.

It was a technical with mayweather the more accurate fighter with pacquiao fighting in short spurts in order to steal rounds which worked in some rounds whereas mayweather controlled more rounds with the jab and straight right hand and showed his ring iq to control the fight for the majority of it. Pacquiao had his moments throughout and landed flush against mayweather and stole some rounds but didn’t work hard enough in more rounds of the fight honestly. Overall mayweather had a great jab, razor sharp right hand, great accuracy, nice speed, high ring iq, great boxing on outside, managed the range well, good footwork which was utilised well, good defense throughout, nice single shots and controlled the fight well. Whereas pacquiao had good speed, nice left hand, good accuracy, nice footwork to get in and out of range, landed the harder single shots, good ring iq, showed good pressure and aggression against mayweather, boxed well at mid range and landed some nice combos and single shots. Overall a close fight in which I had mayweather winning closely. What scores did everyone else have?

It was a case of maidana throwing lots of punches and trying to overwhelm mayweather on the ropes with punches vs a accurate counter puncher like mayweather looking for openings in order to land his punches. It created a close fight in which both had success in their areas of fighting’s and put each other in uncomfortable situations. Mayweather showed a great jab to head and body, nice left hook, good right hand straight, good defense and slipping, great accuracy, nice speed, good counter punching, good stamina, landed some nice single shots and combos, high ring iq and boxed well at range. Whereas maidana showed lots of awkwardness, constant pressure and aggression throughout, fought well on ropes, showed a good swarming style, threw lots of good combos, high workrate and stamina, nice hooks landed, good work to body and head and showed determination to get on the inside. A good close fight in which it could be a draw but a defeat would have been harsh on maidana. It started of with pacquiao using his speed to overwhelm Marquez and knock him down numerous times. After that it seemed like Marquez took control of the fight and started using his counter punching to land cleanly and take these rounds as pacquiao wasn’t able to adjust as well. Towards the later rounds pacquiao regained momentum of the fight and was able to find the range for that left hand to land and to take some of the closer rounds. Overall pacquiao showed blistering speed, great shot accuracy, good power, great combos, great left hand straight, nice footwork to get into and out of range, nice defense shown throughout, showed good ring iq, good heart and chin, nice pressure and aggression throughout, boxed well going forward and adapted towards the end. Whereas Marquez showed great counterpunching, great right hand, nice defense after 1st 2 rounds, adapted well after the 1st couple of rounds, managed the range well, good speed, great shot accuracy, nice single shots and combos, good heart and decent chin, nice shot selection,good ring iq boxed well on backfoot, showed patience and used his footwork well to get pacquiao to fight his fight. good to know you lot had similar scores. Surprised by Marquezs corner saying he was up by 3 going into the final round, that was confusing honestly and didn’t know where they got it from.

good to see someone else watch the mayweather/pacquiao fight and give their score for it. The only difference in our cards is I give 5 of the last 6 to mayweather and you give them both 3 each. It was a close fight tho so a draw isn’t ridiculous or anything’s to me but in my eyes mayweather edged it but respect your score
