Porter will be the same Porter we always see. He only took a dump and cut his hair. I don't think he gets knocked out because his chin is certified rock. However, there is a chance that he gets out boxed.

Agreed but this is a PBC card, Ugas can win 8 rounds and still get robbed.

why is he that bad, giving his strength and stamina and amatuer pedigree, his distancing is one of the worst ive ever seen.

I like Porter but you are absolutely right about his distancing. He smothers his shots so bad, which in turn sacrifices his power. Porter isn't an easy out for anyone because he has a great chin and stamina but I think if he faces a Crawford-type (an elite boxer), he'll get outboxed badly.

Ugas might not pull it off but from what I've seen, if he doesn't fight stupid he can definitely win the fight.

This isn't going to be an easy night for Porter. The fairly close odds of +250 indicate that... and that number certainly isn't inflated by casual betting, because Ugas is hardly a well known commodity...

i cant see porter losing this at all, id say smith has a better chance to ko bivol then porter losing.

You can bank on this fight being close. I think Porter is being oversold here, and Ugas under.

i dont know porters wins over garcia and close fight with thurman put him in the top5 category, Ugas looks like a beater of B-C Level fighters and not much more, now he faces an A level WW.

That really just shows how weak WW is at the moment. Thurman and Garcia wouldn't have been even top 10 WW if this were 2000 or 2010. Those might be A level wins now but they would have been B-C levels 10 or 20 years ago.

I'd have to go through the rankings and think about it but probably towards the bottom 10. Obviously Porter is above him given his resume but Ugas definitely has a shot here, it's not like he is facing a prime Vernon Forrest or DLH. Both Ugas and Porter would be well below elite WW in a different era. They might be operating right now at a similar level (we will see tonight).

Ugas is more Gamboa than Ortiz. Should be Porter easy.

Yeah except the resume of Ugas is better than Ortiz's...

It happens, different sport but Khabib missed weight two or three times before getting it right.Porter looks in a mess here, drinking water, slouched and drained of life I expect.
