Ah, it's harass reznick season again? I'll provide the pitchforks this time. I even brought a cooler with juice boxes.
I miss the days when you were nice to me. Guess you don’t need to now that your YouTube career came to a screeching halt.
Solid roast. I do like you Rez, respect your work and your passion. You are forgiveably over the top at times. It's worth it to have you around. Just chill on getting banned. It's not that serious.
LOL!! The misspelling in this case just fitted superbly tho. I liked it and even more so when someone else picked up on the plot.
Nah, here's the thing. I deeply respect @reznick we've DM'ed back and forth and collaborated in a sense. I'll gladly go into detail as neither of us has anything to hide. But that's his call, Dms are Dms. Rez is one of very few people in the boxing world outside of fighters, whose work gave me chills. What he does is an absolute service to boxing history as a whole and as a community we are lucky to have a guy with his particular skill set. If he gives the go ahead I could gush about his work and my excitement to work with him. This was the first time he's come back at me, I've been giving him a bit of sarcasm since he chooses a few strange hills to die on. Speaking as a technical analyst of some renown. But that for me was just recreational **** talking with a guy I seriously respect.
On topic, but the big chest really seems to be a modern thing from bodybuilding. Even old strongmen like Arthur Saxon seem to have comparitively smaller chests. In either case, I doubt either was the result of studying how much chest muscle was optimal for boxing, I really think a lot of the changes in boxing training has just been what's popular at the time, rather than anything that thought out or scientific.
Forty four was a big chest back in the day, people like Max Baer and Sam Langford were looked at as somewhat freakish.
