    I haven't been following Golovkin's career as of late, but possible explanations that come to mind:

    1. He wants to go out on one last win before retiring.
    2. He wants/needs the money.
    3. It's just a stay busy fight while waiting for Canelo.

    I'm hoping for the first option. He needs to retire. He's not going to get any more big wins.

    Really hope it's not the third option. He shouldn't face Canelo again, or he'll just lose again.

    GGG should move up and fight a champ like Nelo

    Was Rocky a beast? No but was a champ so he was top 10 at least

    Szeremeta is a solid Euro level opponent, with decent wins over Fracillette, Goddi, Mendy, Hermann and Ruben Diaz, he's undefeated and seems to have a solid chin. Is he the best opponent? No. But he's easily Liam Smith level. Decent stay busy fight. I'm not complaining. I was thinking the other day when I was doing the RBR for his match against Francillette that he was an interesting addition to the MW division, he's impressed me his last few times out and with a few more wins, might be a contender. Granted this is too soon. Bit he's not a bad opponent.

    I been saying all along ggg doesn't want anything with the top fighters at 160 only Canelo he already fought Vanes then Canelo now this guy probably Canelo again, but he's just wasting his time he's not getting any younger
