Unranked? He's ranked #2 by the WBC, #2 by the WBA, and #4 by the IBF.

Like GGG, but this seems like a putrid opponent.

    That's quite a soft touch.
Golovkin gets his own Rocky Fielding

Nice try but he's fighting a MW midget, not a ranked SMW.

rock was eurochamp and commonwelath champ, which are recognised b level titles.

this kamil guy is a nobody with a bum title. bum titles are not recognised period.
There is noone recogniseable on his resume.

However..he may become an elite one day.

Rocky was drained to death and then he had to contend with a rehydration clause.

Kamil is euro champ x3, defeated Francillette, Rubén Díaz and Alessandro Goddi, he is a solid euro level fighter, borderline top 15, just like Rocky is/was, at least Szeremeta is undefeated...

SO long as there's a quick turnaround after this fight, i'm OK with it.

lol@ at these fanatics pretending to themselves that this unranked , never heard of guy is equal to Rock Feilding.

Canelo derangement syndrome is very real.

I've seen Kamil twice: against Howard Cospolite (on the Głowacki vs. Karl undercard) and then four years later scoring just his third ever KO versus Alessandro Goddi to capture the Euro belt.

On the former occasion he didn't really impress me all that much (although in fairness he was still very green, with not yet two years in the pros), taking it 78-74 on my card but not looking to have any future world class potential - and on the latter there was little to extrapolate, as it was a 2-round blitz with the chinny Italian vanquished by the first clean 1-2 he ate.

Sandwiched in between those victories, Szeremata picked up his four most notable until this past weekend:

    1. Rafał Jackiewicz (very old & shot to bits)
    2. Kassim Ouma (also very old & shot to bits)
    3. Patrick Mendy (decent journeyman who is 1-0-1 in a pair of upsets over Dmitrii Chudinov)
    4. Artem Karpets (formerly an unbeaten prospect at 21-0; after Szeremata has gone on a downward spiral and lost eleven on the spin)

In other words, a very bland and mediocre résumé, and that's even by European title challenger standards, let alone world. That said, I didn't see his UD over Andrew Francillette on Saturday - and @CST80 appears to rate that victory and think Szeremata looked good (although it does look troublesome Francillette being one fight removed from a loss to aforementioned Goddi...) so I'll defer that he might not be utter garbage as my previous glimpses would indicate. He's still going to get brutally KTFO, however., as GGG will have zero respect for his pitty-pats and is leagues beyond him in terms of skill.

Maybe he shouldn't be fighting at SMW.

All we ever wanted was for Golovkin to fight the best.

Drained at the division. Rehydration clause killed him.
