Roy Jones, he was nowhere nea as good as people say he was (though he had the speed to be amazing) specifically aty light heavy because he was decked by Dell Valle at 168 flush meaning he was easier to catch than other fighters that were p4p better defensively than him and if a good lihght heavy puncher with better offensive skills caught Jones like that he would get sparked.
That's like the holy trinity of heavyweights who were H2H beasts, apart from in fights that actually happened.
I wanna say there's too much nostalgia/superiority complex for the 90s as a whole but randomly guys like Holyfield, Moorer and Morrison will be underrated (H2H)
Nah, Jones at his peak was likely better than people say he was. He was truly that great at his peak.
IMO he was the most gifted in terms of reflexes. lightening fast, but his lack of fighting the best makes him suspect to which is why I can't say I disagree with you. I think he could've beatan all of them, but facts are he didn't fight all who were there. he did however have the honor of shutting out a P4P #1 in JT. And as far as the Devall drop?
