    Think about the story of the fight.

    Going into the fight the narrative is that Spence is the bigger guy and will bulky Mikey into submission.

    If Mikey survives 12 rounds it seems like a good achievement. So if Mikey can make the fight any way competitive what happens?


    The judges will see anything less than a dominant Spence win as a Mikey win. It's natural when the story of the fight is like this. See Canelo Vs GGG 2 for an example.

    No. I don't understand your logic. The judges will know that even if Mikey gets to the final bell, it will be (almost) a victory in itself for him. Like in the eyes of boxing fans, etc. So, they won't bother giving Mikey a nod in a close fight. Because they would be under heavy criticism (maybe even an appeal against the decision) in that case from the Spence team.
    A draw is possible, though.

    Spence will be bringing constant, brutal pressure from the opening bell. That is who he is.

    Mikey will be savaged i fear.

    He must be working, working, working and constantly perfecting a bomb of an overhand right. KO6 is the only way out of this.

    Marquez, Margarito, Clenelo all have something in common....and the Garcia's are part of that tribe.

    Spence should be watching them very, very closely.

    Oddsmakers make money by being right.
    If they thought judges were going to be motivated in any way to lean towards Mikey, they wouldn’t have installed Spence at -500.
    This is logically incoherent.

    If the fight goes to decision, 7-5 Spence will go to mikey or be a draw at best. I think Spence needs 8-4 and maybe to drop him to get this dec.
