Crawford gets some credit, but not much. Oscar was 35 when he fought Pac. Pac is 40 now and would be 41-42 if a Crawford fight happened. And Crawford would outweigh Pac by 15-20 pounds.

Now if Lomachenko beat Pac, it would be an amazing win because Lomachenko wouldn't be 15-20 pounds heavier like Bud/Spence/Thurman/Porter would be.

This thread is BS. Leonard wasn’t ruined by losing to Duran. DLH wasn’t ruined by losing to Mosely.
These guys are on that level. We should be embracing the fact that we have two throwbacks willing to put on a fight like this, instead of feeding the BS talking points that allow today’s fighters to duck the best competition

 

Im picking Mikey to win because I like him but odds are he doesnt. If he does I think it raises his stock higher than it lowers Spences. Spence even in a loss will still be a major player at WW for years to come. The only thing that can derail that and make your scenario valid is if Mikey destroys him and even KOs Spence. That would mean a lot of things and none would be good for Spence. I just look forward to a great fight.

In fact, yes. Maybe not subpar, but overrated. Of course it would also mean that Mikey is special. So, it's both.
But if I were forced to choose only one option (either the whole WW were overrated or Mikey is special) I would probably choose the first one.

I think the fight might be competitive but I think as it goes on your gonna see Spence seperate as a clear winner.
