A lot of his fans were getting a little carried away though and were underestimating Fury and AJ by comparison.
It didn't go viral for the reasons you think though. They focus actually went on Fury for getting up like a man possessed, nothing to do with Wilders name. I live half way across the globe, and much like Rilz has stated below, within the boxing community there were a lot of question marks over Wilder. What round would he knock out Fury? Is he skilled enough to outbox inactive Fury? How easily would he beat Fury? And the obvious, How does he match up with golden boy AJ? The fact that failed to knock out Fury, failed to outbox Fury and failed to beat Fury, the majority of my boxing friends have little time for him. Fury who is feather fisted hurt Wilder multiple times. In the 12th after getting back up, he had Wilder out on his feet from a counter. He is what he is, a one trick pony. If he can land the knockout punch, he's fine. If not, he gets beat. Fury proved that and the world saw. Saying that Wilder didn't lose fans is laughable. Go back and read the round by round, his own fans on this board were pleading for him to land a knockout punch because he was down by so many rounds. Hit the nail on the head Wilder was leveraging off the casuals in the boxing world. Any boxing fan can see the flaws in Wilder and know that it's only a matter of time that he is cracked. And when he is, he's done at the top level. Fury is a feather fisted fighter and he hurt Wilder on multiple occasions. The MEANEST, BADDEST fighter on the planet should have been able to knockout an overweight 'bum' that was essentially retired (I say bum, because that is what Wilder called him). Instead, he was out boxed, hurt and humiliated from a boxing perspective by said bum. There were a lot of question marks around Fury that in the end went over to Wilder.
He got Wilder good a few times but it wasn't anything serious. Except in the 12th, but Wilder was fatigued then.
They're BOTH huge liars, anyone who sides with either is a fanboy. In this case Wilder didn't want the rematch to take place in the U.K of Fury's choice like the original agreement was to be so its his own stupidity not getting a deal done quick enough and wanting the corrupt Barclays Center as a cushion again. In this sense here Wilder is telling the truth but Fury doesn't owe him ANYTHING, he gave him his U.S PPV so wilder should turn around and go kick rocks ,he's not even supposed to be the WBC champ and needs to shut up and stop running from Joshua not this clown stuff and challenging Bellew to a fight over a TRUTH he said on social media which again reinforces what many say including me ....Wilder you basically ARE the worst HW of all time, why didn't you challenge Whyte a real top HW when he said it with actual derogatory remarks for 7 million ? lol Wilder is NOT ducking Fury because he wanted the PPV ,he CANT get one without him! Fury is NOT ducking Wilder he gave him a choice to wait on the side and you cant duck someone you've defeated to sign for more money elsewhere. What hes DOING is trolling wilder and good, because this is what Wilders been doing to AJ all along. He shouldn't even be fighting anyone BUT Joshua. SMH This should really be common sense, the whole thing is basically Wilder crying because he's illogical person. Dumb as rocks ...it is what it is. Again Wilder CANT make an impact without Fury on a PPV , at least one that actually generates his value up and a Fury fight has less a chance of getting knocked out for more money ( this was the case ) to whose available like Breazeale ( 90 % ) K.o record and fighting for peanuts or Joshua who he swerved . If Wilder is smart he'll sign to DAZN....this will get him off his circus act! For ONCE. Of course he's going to lose his belt over there ,but what is he going to RUN away until he calls it quits ? He also better sign a deal fast bc its over if Breazeale knocks him out with no multi fight contract at hand... lol
Wilder was hurt by a hook after the knockdown in rd12 that`s why he started backing off before that he was going in for the kill missing nearly all his shots while Fury dodged on the ropes.
His style was all wrong for Wlad and none of his over opponents are near his level now except Wilder.
Who cares, the only fighters now that stand a chance against Fury are Wilder, AJ and Usyk because Ortiz is getting older by the day, what`s the point in going on about the past?
Because I predicted Fury would duck a rematch with Wilder and that's exactly what happened. When I was pressed by guys like yourself "What makes you think why Fury would duck Wilder for a 2nd fight?" -- and answered because he has done so before. "But madballster, he was depressed against Wlad. He had a drug problem! This won't happen with Wilder". And still he ducked a rematch. Fury is unreliable, that's the problem.
