What's more disappointing is that Joey took that fight on only 13 days notice. It's not too hard to outwork Joey decisively down the stretch but Kuzmin didn't really manage it.

I'm not writing off Kuzmin, either, but he hasn't always looked like a can't-miss prospect. For example, he made heavy work out of Jeremiah Karpency last year - a smart opponent, but not a talented one. That wasn't an easy fight to watch. He gradually asserted himself over David Price - but we know David can't muster up more than about four quality rounds before he tires. He dominated LaRon Mtichell - but Mitchell was 38 and he had had two shoulder surgeries in the preceding 18 months.

As you said, future fights should tell the story. I believe there is some good money behind Kuzmin and he is ranked highly. He should be able to get good fights made for him.

We were talking about George Arias, but I've noticed that Fa is looking completely different! So far prospects like Arias and Fa are far behind boxers like Ajagba and Hrgovic.

Yeah but Arias is not throwing enough to be good enough to go further than top 20.

They are far behind. Fa looked bad few fights back, so I'm cautious about his chances.

@houmzz absolutely agree with both of your statements. I am even brave enough to say that Ajagba and Hrgovic have a real chance against Joshua and they are better than Whyte for example, just not so experienced yet.

Romonov, Suslenkov, Bepo Filipi, Alexander Frank, Vald Sirenko, Frank Sanchez Faure, Robert Alfonso and Demerizen will be amongst top 30 in some time, so good times for heavyweight division coming up.

Ivan Dychko should be knocking on the top 30 now ... but he must be sitting around watching TV or something.

Fighting anyone and building up his win numbers would be better than doing nothing.
