Maybe Jack Sharkey? Corbett has a really poor KO percent, but I think it's skewed by the conditions of the time (a lot of short fights, police interfearence, and "slugging being disallowed), and also had bad hands. Corbett is still one of the prime candidates though.
Really no idea without doing some proper digging, but off the top of my head Ernie Terrell might make a 'top' ten in this category. Again going from memory here, but as far as I can recall the biggest name he beat inside-schedule was Foster, who basically always lost inside-schedule against the leading Heavies and who was about 20 lb lighter than Terrell on the night.
The first few that spring to mind Leon Spinks Corbett Jim Braddock John Ruiz Nicolai Valuev (pfp) Chris Byrd Henry Akenwandi
I actually did a research thread on this Corbett has the latest average knockout round of any heavyweight champion and the least amount of 1st round knockouts, at a whopping 0. 1 less than Jack Sharkey So yeah Corbett. Sharkey, Byrd, Fury and Johnson are in the discussion...?
None of the lineals were particularly light punching. It is possible to imagine a scenario where a Loughran or a Maxim lifted the lineal title but it never actually happened!
Boxing record Total fights 28 Wins 27 Wins by KO 19 any heavyweight with a lower KO percentage than thios has less of a dig than Fury has.
