It should be a complete formality but the beauty of Price is that you never know. Ali's physical appearance reminds me of Teper.

It will be fight of the night mate. Fitzgerald is good, won a gold at the commonwealth games. Very good match up. Would go 60/40 in Fowlers favour.

Fitzgerald looking in great shape on social media and he's a decent enough boxer but Fowlers the man! I think it'll be a decent fight with Fowler stopping him in the late rounds

Similar talent levels, i'd put Fowler slightly above him. Size will be the telling factor in this one i think

Apparently Ali is bang up for this and he's going round telling everyone he's going to knock price out. It might just happen.

Whatever you say about Price, he's a brilliant drama show to watch. Someone (quite often him) is getting KTFO.

    Agreed

However I hope he don't end up on any more PPVs

He is ideal for Sat fight night level and done
However with so many UK Boxers looking to the US I have a feeling he may end up on a "stacked card" or two

He absolutely will for the sheer fact that he's entertainment for the guys (like me) sat in a pub with their mates, a few pints in and thinking "I wanna see a circus style KO".

Simple supply and demand I'm afraid. This of course makes Price more a sideshow than a contender, but still …

A fighter with massive power (Price's right hand can drop anyone on this planet); below average defence (in my opinion) and the chin of a pumped up flyweight is going to put bums on seats. It's actually a very marketable product if we let go of the flaky notion Boxing has real ethics

If Boxing was as honest and unconstrained as, say, Ancient Rome was in gladiatorial times, Hearn, or some cynical chap, could sign Price exclusively and confidently run a media campaign saying "this guy will fight 4 times a year and we cast-iron promise SOMEONE is getting ironed out brutally".

In half the fights feed him bums he can crush in spectacular fashion. In the other half, the wildcard half, feed him dangerous fringe contenders. The raw and rough, and unknown yet tough, ranked 22 guy from Central Europe/West Africa/South America who has no skill or exposure but can knock over a tank.

With a platform like this, Price could be a PPV star himself.

I've been watching some Gash Ali and he doesn't seem to get hit a lot. If he can avoid/take Price's power this could get interesting. Gash is also bigger guy than I thought, around 6'4 or something. Also gotta remember that if he was a complete fraud Sokolowski would have taken him out.

Feeling a bit nervous for Pricey now.

Although the last time I didn't feel nervous for Price was Price - Thompson I.
