    Personally I think if that fight happened next Kovalev would destroy him, Yarde gets hit way too easily and even though Kovalev is a bit older and getting slower he would still be too dangerous for any fighter that gets hit that easily.
    Hopefully the Kovalev vs Bivol unification happens first and Yarde would be better off fighting someone like Badou Jack before he takes on the big guns

    Yarde isn’t going anywhere kovalev anytime soon.

    I would love to see this fight. And, frankly speaking, I'm not sure at all it will be a walk in the park for Kovalev.

    I agree. Yarde is still a little raw, but he can crack with both hands and he's talented. Yeah, his defense isn't great but with his power, he is dangerous for anyone. He is a huge, strong LHW. I think he needs to step up his level of opponent before Kov though, Travis Reeves to Kovalev is way too big of a jump in class.

    Kovalev will need to be 52 years old before Yarde is going to feel ready to face him.

    Remember guys, he only had 12 amateur fights.

    I honestly don't know how Yarde would do. He'd need an Iron chin with that defense, but maybe he has one.

    All I do know is that Nathan Cleverly was far more proven when he faced Kovalev. Yarde needs at least one top 10 opponent before he goes near any version of Kovalev.

    Awaken me when Yarde fights someone in the top 15.......................at his current progress I don't think he beats any top 10 guys. think some top 15 guys give him the business too........
