The IBF won't grant Warrington an exception.

He thinks he might hang on to his title a bit longer.

A world title fight in less than 8 weeks and no venue booked. Now the boxer who doesn't want to fight his mandatory is injured.
    How predictable.

He has picked Frampton? Has he actually said this? Where has he said this out of interest?

Frampton wasn't a mandatory so he was a picked opponent. The fight wudnt of happend if Warrington didn't agree to it. It was common knowledge that the winner of Selby Warrington wud meet Frampton. It was wen everyone was talking up Selby Frampton discarding josh

    Your making yourself look silly.

It's been well documented he hurt his hand in the Frampton fight, he even said it on the night.
He has all the available evidence to back it up from the hand surgeon.
But you think he's ducking galahad.
Your a fool to think that.

I’m expecting Warrington to end up dropping the belt and announcing that he’s fighting Valdez in America instead.

Hearn has forced Frank to throw a huge amount of money on the purse bid, and IMO I don’t think the sums add up. They may have gone through with the bids too buy time to see how it plays out.

Hopefully I’m wrong, as I want to see the fight, but that’s how I see the situation at the moment.

You never know in this game. Things change all the time.
It was reported over at scene, that josh is going with Tyson, over to Arum.

I think you may be right. In franks last interview he mentioned Galahad getting a nice touch, possibly a Freudian slip showing that amount he bid is very much on his mind.

Frank doubtless wants Josh holding that WBO strap so he can get busy writing the rankings list and deciding his mandatories...

A unification fight with Valdez means more money for Warrington, who is now focused on making the most money for his young family.

Frank Warren and BT get one up on Hearn and sky by showing this on regular BT.

So this fight will go ahead, it makes more sense for everyone involved on the BT side of things.

Assuming the fight is held in the US, In reality Warrington bringing an IBF belt to the party is not going to increase the income generated. Arum/ESPN will pay whatever they will pay.

I don’t see how frank/BT massively overpaying for a fight and sticking it on for their subs’ is getting anything over on Sky. It’s great for us, but I doubt Hearn or anybody at Sky will be even remotely bothered. Galahad holds no value - Hearn has just done him a massive favour by inflating his purse well above his value by forcing it to go to bids.

If as I suspect, Warrington pulls out and hands back the belt then Galahad will get a vacant title shot. Either way, and I hate to say it as I can’t stand the cnut, he’s coming out of this winning (assuming he wins the belt).

Having said all of that, I do hope
I’m wrong and your right, as I would love to see Josh beat him down to the canvas.

Galahad is a stiffer test than a small, past his best featherweight who struggled with his weight in his previous fight.
