Mikey Is 152—Could He Actually MISS Weight?!?!?!

Serious? He could cut that in a few hours, and thats at most. I mean ****, the kid could go take a dump right now and hit the scales and be 147 on point. You know how easy it is to cut 10 lbs. of water weight alone? Come on now. When Mikey hits the ring hes gonna be 152-154 at most. Spence is probably gonna hop the ropes at 160+. Make no mistake, both guys will hit weight and come fight night Spence is going to be the significantly larger man.

 

pac has always been stringy, even between fights. mikey has always been paunchy, even during fights. mikey will still be moving around, the weight hes used to moving around. hes just moving it around with less effort, cause the weight is muscle, not fat, so the muscle helps to carry itself, its not weighed down by something that doesnt do any work, like fat.

 

But just moving around (in everyday life) is not the same as fighting in the ring.

You can't say that Mikey will be fine fighting in the ring weighing ~150 just because it's about his usual weight between the fights.

Because walking around in the streets or maybe jogging in the morning is not the same as fighting an intense 12-rounds fight against a top opponent, obviously.

 

Not a problem in the least.

You lose the last 5 or 6 lbs between noon Thursday and noon Friday.

He has to start cut weight from Thursday night to make 147 on Friday night. 7 pounds are nothing.
Even I could do that and I’m not s professional athlete.

Usually they start the weight cut 4-5 days before the weigh in. And they can still cut more than 15 pounds easily

That’s why Errol Spence gonna win this fight easily, because in the ring Mikey is going to be around 150, while Spence easily 165+

 

no, not the obvious part. tell me, why wont mikey be fine fighting at his walk around weight? in your mind, what is being affected at this new weight that he did not have to deal with before, at other weights?

 

No problem Mikey dropping the 5 pounds and Spence won't come in as heavy as some think. Spence will put on 7-10lbs max. What sense would it make for Spence to step into the ring stuffed like a pinata?
