Okay guys, i know the the standard answer here is Gatti vs Ward which was a real barn burner. Could it be that Mancini vs Chacon, Chacon vs Limon, omar sheika vs Scott Pemberton or Hearns Hagler! We forget so often as boxing fans, that modern boxing is not what it used to be when it comes to laying it all on the line. I remember in the 80s and back when you used to see a war about every other fight! Whats your pick for greatest boxing war?
Well, here's two of my favourites. Watch them as soon as possible for all action wars. Chang vs Tokashiki Joichiro Tatsuyoshi vs Singwacha This is what you're looking for. Edit: This content is protected This content is protected Russell also has a play list of obscure, under rated wars on his YouTube channel.
thank you man, i've never seen these bouts will check them out after work and my wife goes to bed, looking forward to it! you have a youtube channel?
No I don't upload videos. I do have playlist of all bouts I've saved. 432 of them last I checked. I'll link it to you. https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWsfoQh1M-uTzqmoByA5wgVK31FtjiY2E The user Russell uploads lots of footage, quite a bit of it rare. It's a shame as other channels steal his stuff. Edit: here's Russell's channel https://m.youtube.com/user/LiquidNuke Check his play lists.
I think it has something to do with our Society as a whole has become softer in everyway possible! For me boxing has always directly related to the way the world was around it. If times were tough the guys fought harder! Were talking about times when starting at a young age kids would go outside and play. Nowadays kids are stuck inside and being taught that winning is not important. Trying hard isn't the answer to your problems it has to be something or someone else's fault. Just my two cents!
