According to Hearn the sums involved in this fight didn't add up for a non-PPV event. Warrington and his promoter openly said they didn't want the fight. The venue was never announced and now an injury pull-out. Is anyone surprised?
On wat wins of kids do u base that statement. Frampton is a 2 weight world champion. Where as kid is quite irrelevant after a drug ban with out any real win of note.
Has Warren premeditated the whole thing? By all accounts he bid a huge fee at the purse bids and said it wasn't going to be on PPV, much to Hearn's surprise. No venue announced and an injury pull out. All tied together, it does look suspicious. The questions are; why would Warren do it? Was it to buy time to wait on a better offer like the ESPN one? Can Warrington fight a unification fight, and somehow keep his belt? Will he just vacate and fight for a different belt in US? I don't think Warrington fears Galahad. Why would he after his last two fights? The issue must be financial. Obviously they know Warrington/Galahad isn't a PPV, nor would it interest the Americans. However, a fight v Valdez just might and could generate a big payday + more big fights in America.
What's wrong with that? Warrington has fought Selby and Frampton back to back, doubt he's worrying about Galahad too much. Also, when you've stopped moaning about mandatories and purse bids being pushed back - I hope you actually go out and watch the fight so you can have a say. Galahad has virtually no following. No fans. Let's all hope the fight happens - it's prize fighting at the end of the day so hope he gets some cash. He needs to start endearing himself to the public a bit more IMO. There’s nothing wrong with it, I just responded to the previous post regarding May 4th date. Warrington’s got a hand injury. Which benefits QP because pushing the fight back to June allows them to go for an outdoor venue. Headingley perhaps?
I've seen Galahad spar a world champion at 4 weights higher and handle him easily. You claim he's irrelevant but he's in the same position Warrington was 12 months ago as mandatory challenger (except Selby didn't pull out with an injury). He's won several titles already and a final eliminator in USA. You claim he hasn't any real win of note. Perhaps you are confusing him with featherweight Chris Male who got KTFO when he moved up to area level.
What's our Chris got to do with this thread. Someone's been on boxrec but can't read. The fight was at super feather. Ask josh what he thinks of Chris. Is this the same kid who was getting schooled by jazza dickens then got banned for drugs. He sudnt even be allowed to step in a ring again.
who did he spar? its all relevant, im more than 4 weights higher than Kid, but he could handle me in sparring i assume.
Warren was probably in a rage & just wanted to beat Hearn to the purse bid. Then later realised it was not a PPV & he would lose a lot of money on the show.
Dont even bother maley, he's trolling. His posts in this thread are ridiculous. He still hasn't answered my question when I asked, if he was stating, joshs injury is fake. He won't answer that because once he does then all his other ridiculous statements unravel. The fact is Josh has an injury. I can tell you that at this moment in time it's an inconvenient injury because it's stalling his assault on unifying as the sooner he gets galahad out of the way the sooner he gets to move on. It will never turn out convenient for Josh. It may turn out to benefit Frank if and only if it ends up been at headingly and then only if headingly wasn't available before may 4th. Obviously there's a better chance of good weather as it goes past may 4th
Eddie Hearn says "Surprise, surprise". He doesn't believe Warrington has a bad hand. Hopes the IBF don't give him an extension and is asking them if he can put the title on. (56mins) This content is protected Warrington is usually very active on twitter but has disappeared.
