Let's see. Carroll's last opponent was a very, very, very good slick yet aggressive southpaw Frenchman, who's easily every bit as good as Farmer. Doesn't that prepare him a great deal for what he's about to deal with this Friday? Especially since its a recent fight. And pay attention here, Jono wins most of the first half. But Frenois has great stamina and is tough as nails. Kind of like Patera. But if Carroll can win 6 rounds off of a guy that has a great gas tank and gets stronger as the fight progresses, what happens when he's in the ring with a guy that gets weaker as the fight progresses and has a history of fading? Hmmmm. This content is protected
Come on fellow TMVASers and Kirk's compatriots. This one needs further and a closer inspection, what's you thoughts?
Why do you think that? What has impressed you that much about Farmer? Personally I view it as it as a very bad matchup for him.
Well firstly I disagree about Carroll’s head movement. He is too easy to hit and Farmer will find him all night long as Jono chases the fight. I totally agree about Jono’s body attack and he punches harder than his record suggests but Farmer is slippery and I think he is going to struggle nailing him down.Once he feels the fight slipping away he will become more reckless and I see it becoming target practise. Of course I may be wrong and I hope I am.I just can’t see it going well, and I felt Frenois beat him.I would love to see Carroll v Tennyson if he does fall short here.
We'll see, either scenario as well within the realm of possibility, it's a very intriguing match and it pisses me off that there's so little interest in it. For your sake and mine I hope my prediction is right. For what it's worth, I do think Frenois is better than Tevin Farmer and that he would beat him, so maybe if my prediction is right, Guillaume will get his crack at American Idol. What a dumbass nickname.
