I don't get the fuss - he is okay but nothing really special imo. Same thing about Mikey. I see nothing worthy of them being in top 200 all time list.

The way people talk about Spence you'd think he was SRL. I see nothing special about him. No wow factor, In another era he'd had been beaten easily. I guess it shows how bad the talent is now.

I'm not a big fan. Spence is good but I just can't get on the bandwagon. He does a lot of subtle things that go unnoticed and I feel he is deserving of his spot...but I'm not one to really appreciate subtleties. Never once been excited to see a fight of his.

I think he's good, very good in fact but those who compared him to Mayweather early on, saying he would be the next Mayweather DKSAB, he's a very different fighter. He's more offence than defence, his movement isn't great, not bad but not amazing either. He's a physical specimen with sound fundamentals but in terms of pure boxing skills he isn't up there with the elite guys like Loma, Uysk, Crawford. Remember Brook was out boxing him early before Spence's strength and sheer relentlessness broke him down.

I expect him to beat everyone at Welter but Crawford. I think if he moves up be beats everyone at light middle, but at middleweight he may struggle, BJS could out box him, Jacobs too, Canelo would definitely beat him, GGG would probably KO him.

I watched Spence vs Lemons Peterson earlier, Serge. Change that to a 6 out of 10 fighter, B minus level boxer, and a C minus level resume. I see what your see, Mikey... Spence is ****ing garbage

I like Spence as I think hes a solid WW but he hasn't shown me anything where I could put him at a level where I see future all time greatness out of him. I think Crawford beats him and if Thurman ever gets back in top form he will give Spence lots of problems.

Crawford will box Spence's ears off. Spence only has a puncher's chance. If Cuban leprechaun Gamboa can hurt Crawford badly and GRJ can spark him out in a street fight then so can Spence but I got Crawford, who actually is a legit A - level fighter, taking him to school and embarrassing him.

Spence is a good fighter, has brutal power. Actually though it was Garcia who was the overated one.

Very good at what he does but one dimensional and not hard to hit. Brook was a good win but he still has a lot to prove.

    Crawford beats him easy
If people thought lara made canelo look stupid, Crawford moves better and has more of an arsenal.

Always astounds me to hear fighters being compared mid-career to all-time greats and then marginalizing them. The jury is still out on Spence. Just as it was on most other ATG's mid-career. I think Spence has the potential to be great. He hits hard, very hard and is willing to mix it up. The fact that he is willing to trade the way he does may be his undoing. But how can you fault him for that, actually wanting to show he is the best by mixing it up? I like the guy a lot and hope he has continued success. If he loses to Garcia or Thurman or Crawford you can damn well bet he will go down swinging. And let's not forget Crawford almost didn't get the stoppage in his last fight against Jose Benavidez, a one-legged fighter. Spence would have stopped Benavidez inside of 5. Garcia had a tough time with Lipinets. And Thurman was nearly stopped by Lopez. Come on, lighten up on Spence.
