The difference will be that AA doesnt box that much and doesnt throw enough punches. He has good power but the haymakers that were able to get by Mirandas atrocious defense will not get to Pavlik because of his height. Pavlik is no defenseive wiz himself but he is tall has a thunderous jab and knows how to keep that perfect distance were he is out of reach yet can land his massive shots.

Pavlik can pace himself as AA will lay back and try to counter but again the height on Kelly will force AA to have to make the effort to land. Kelly has the upper hand and will KO AA. AA is not an all out pressure throw smoke and dig to the body type fighter in the style of lets say a Joe Frazier if he were then Kelly's ass would be in jeapordy, instead he is a cover up in the shell and throw on the counter to catch you and put you out type, but he has a very low work rate that is his weakness againts Kelly and why he will lose.

He does have a punchers chance and can get lucky but barring that he loses

Pavlik is a good style match for Abraham, although he has better technical skills than Miranda. Pavlik isn't particularly fast, he moves in straight lines and is very predictable. Will Pavlik's high work rate be troublesome for Abraham? No, that can easily be neutralized through lateral movement. As Pavlik seems to have a strong chin I would guess the fight will go 12 rounds with Abraham winning the decision.

i think abraham has a good chance of starching pavlik. styles wise i'd say this is still 60/40 in favor of pavlik. but abraham could catch him with that looping left hook.

Abraham could beat Pavlik, but at this time I consider that fight a toss-up.

Bull****. Demers, Ghevor and Elcock are all quite good. If you do not know boxers outside of your backyard it is your ****ing problem.

Unlikely. Pavlik will not make the mistakes he made in the first Taylor fight again. AND, he can walk through power shots he sees coming with ease. Rewatch the Pavlik-Miranda fight. Miranda landed at least a dozen Sunday punches that Pavlik walked right through. Taylor's were very fast and were in an exchange where Pavlik stuck his tongue out ill advisedly. Abraham's punches are strong, but Pavlik can see them coming and take them if he can't dodge or block.

AA can take Kelly's too, though, so it should be a great fight. I'd pay to see it.

pavlik. he will win by UD. he has the intelligence, the punch, the skills and experience to beat abraham.

miranda made the mistake to power himself out and being open for counters.

pavlik isnt that stupid and will work with his jab and keep the distance

A fight and a great fight for the 160 lbs division - for all the marbles and probably the best, most compelling fight in the division since Hopkins Trinidad in 2001 on paper for me.

    Sign the paper!

I don't think Edison would have been too keen to see Kelly after that performance, especially how he said he was gonna ko Abraham and then find Pavlik in the crowd and sort him out too.

    Good times at 160 woo!

I envision this fight being close and competitive. Pavlik has the better jab, longer reach, almost as much power, with all around better boxing ability. I'd say late round TKO for Pavlik.

There is also the real possibility that Abraham counters Pavlik's shots, and KOs him. Both fighters carry power to the end of the bell, so it would be an exciting fight no matter the outcome.

6'2" v 5'9"...it'll be difficult for AA to counter.
    Pavlik KO in 7.

    Abraham.

His chin is SOLID and his power is equal to Pavlik's and his one punch KO power is better IMO.

Th reason he was losing rounds to miranda is because he was just waiting...figuring him out....timing him etc etc. But as soon as he opened up, Miranda was a dead man.
