Ruiz might be a good one if he look good vs Dimitrenko, other two are gate keepers coming off losses.
I've always thought Bryant Jennings or Joseph Parker would be Fury's next opponent. Jennings if they want to play it safe. He has a name & poses minimal risk in what is the first fight of a 5-fight deal. Parker if they want to milk Fury's lineal champion status & make a splash. It's a serious fight but one that Fury would be strongly favoured to win. Can't really see Oscar Rivas in the frame. Yes, he beat Jennings but is largely unknown & as others have mentioned elsewhere, he's high risk / low reward. At this point, no-one has any interest in that fight. I think that rules it out.
I didn't realize they still did fights at the T&M. They'll struggle making the place feel full for this fight.
Who cares? It will be non competitive rubbish. Wilder and Fury are now stinking out the heavyweight scene.
Tyson Fury isn’t an exciting fighter in the ring any longer unless it involves him being bounced (eg, wilder fight). I don’t foresee any of his opponent choices making a good fight with him- they will only allow him to engage in his backfoot counter punching showboating game that I am tired of When he was on the way up he had a nastiness about him and was exciting to watch. In recent years he is becoming more and more like his feather fisted cousin Hughie. An earlier career version of Tyson Fury would have iced Wilder no doubt in my mind about that- he has regressed in terms of entertainment value.
