    Hey NN.. everyone says this. why? more so Quintana expose Williams ? or was there some contract or other issue?

    Williams beat Margarito in the summer of 2007 for a belt.

    Mayweather best Hatton in late 2007.

    Had Williams made a statement against Quintana in early 2008, a fight with Mayweather would have been plausible.

    Williams lost and rematched Quintana then became a 154/160 fighter exclusively before 2008 ended. Mayweather sat out 2008 and came back in 2009 at 147.

    So you are saying May wouldn't fight him because he lost to Quintana? Paul came back and tko'd Quintana in round 1 .. And didn't May initially say he didn't want to fight Paul because he was to big for him

    Williams was gone from 147 after the rematch and Floyd was on hiatus. It was a small window.
