Once described by American boxing writers as the horizontal heavyweights, how would you rank the sturdy and some not so sturdy chins of these notable British World heavyweight champions and challengers against each other?

    Bob Fitzsimmons
    Tommy Farr
    Don C0ckell
    Henry Cooper
    Brian London
    Joe Bugner
    Richard Dunn
    Frank Bruno
    Lennox Lewis
    Henry Akinwande
    Herbie Hide
    David Haye
    Audley Harrison
    David Haye
    Tyson Fury
    Anthony Joshua

Quite a lot of names there so you can just list your top 10 or even just a top 5 if you want.

LOL Lewis was KTFOed cold by Rahman. Wlad is MUCH harder puncher than Rahman and AJ got up and stopped him.

Wlad isn't a "much harder" puncher than Rahman, and that punch didn't look harder than the one Rahman hit Lennox with based on the way both fighters threw the shot. Didn't hit Joshua in the same awkward way Rahman's did Lennox either, which I suspect is a big reason Lennox was unable to get up from the shot.

Looking at how both fighters have taken shots in their career thus far I'd say they had a similar level of chin. That might change depending on how Joshua's career pans out.

Lennox - most proven chin against the biggest number of punchers
Joshua - seems to have a solid chin thus far
Bruno - could take a shot without dropping but tended to freeze up when hit
Fury - can't really seem to take a shot but has phenomenal recuperative powers, complete opposite of Bruno
Bugner - seems to have taken a solid shot, but not upper echelon in that regard
Haye - his chin seemed better at HW than CW but he wasn't anything special
Harrison - below average chin and total fear of his opponents made him a joke to stop
Hide - physically the worst able to take a shot, awful chin

Love this, Lewis is always blasted because of his loses but people forget about the punishment he took in the Vitali, Briggs and Mercer fights without being KO'ed
