No I meant to say Loma was his chance at glory. Spence was a cash grab.

The thing that concerns me is Al's stable is primarily at 147 and 154.

If he can't get the top fights made with those guys while he's with PBC, it makes me wonder how hard Al is really trying to get those fights made. Being in house, it really should be easier for Spence to get top opponents than it has been.

It almost comes off like Haymon is happy keeping the rest of his 147 guys away from Spence, not unlike GGG and Universum back in the day where they kept protecting Sturm from him.

How do you think Lomachenko would have done tonight against Spence?

Do you think Spence would catch him like Linares did? Or do you think Spence would bring the pressure like Salido?

Sorry, my bad. I don't think the Loma fight would have ever materialized tbh.

Moving up 3 weight class at 31 years old. Oh yeah big deal lol .. Loma said he aint moving up ever from his weight. He said he wants no part of Spence - in fairness to him he was honest about not going up any further.

I have to disagree with you. Manny was great but not anymore. Manny should retire. In fact, I hate those types of fights. No one wants an ex-great to get hurt so usually when the old warrior fights a current top fighter the ref is quick to stop it but they both are happy because they each walk off with a big payday.

I never thought Rigo was going to beat Loma. And I don't think Rigo would beat Loma if they were even the same age or size. Loma is simply better than Rigo, no other way to put it. Rigo is pretty overrated, at least as a professional. If you watched his fight with Cordoba you knew he wasn't going to have a chance in hell of beating Loma, whether it was 126 or 130 pounds.

That may be true, but Pac is still the better than the crop of 147lb fighters except for the 1-2 ranked guys.

I definitely think he'd get KO'd, he's even smaller than Mikey but I think he'd actually be a bigger puzzle than Mikey prior to that happening.

Loma accepted his cut. Mikey said he wanted more money than Loma. But Arum said you get the same as Loma. So Mikey walked away.

Porter, Thurman, and Garcia are nothing special (and nothing Manny hasn't seen before). Crawford obviously puts a beating on him and maybe I'm wrong and Spences does too. BUT, I think if you match Manny with the three aforementioned fighters, he would win those fights.
