    Blocked punches look bad for the judges.

    Now to answer the question. This isnt the amateurs. So you dont score anything when a punch lands. You score rounds.

    In amatuer boxing thats not a scoring punch. But no punch is a scoring punch in the pros. Because in the pros we score rounds.

    Yes, nowhere is it written in boxing that scoring shots have to be to the head or abdomen. Shots to the chest, and arms are scoring shots too because, from experience, they still do damage.

    There is no such thing as a scoring punch because it's not the amateurs. In the pros we score pain.

    No, tinman, you're incorrect. The only punches that count are to the face, to the body, that's it. Punches to the back of the head, below the belt to the back and on the arms do not count as a scoring punch.
