Loma ducking spence - said he wants no part of Spence

Oh please...Loma may well be one of the greatest boxers ever, but like...you think the height and reach was too much today, I don't even want to think about the mountain and a half in height and reach between Loma and Spence. There's only so far you can go, and that's too far even for Loma. Loma is by far a better boxer than Spence, but you can't overcome a size advantage like that. Impossible.

Yeah, there's a gap. It's not 2 or 3 inches like the Tyson situation. And at heavyweight there's much less head movement, they can't really escape their opponent. It's a different kettle of fish at the lower weights. People have more space to play with and have movement to run around more. This isn't a huge height and reach advantage like Spence had tonight. According to boxrec there's 4 inches of reach in between Spence and Mikey. That's huge.

Between Spence and Loma there is 6 and a half inches. 6 and a half!!! You've got to be kidding me if you think that is competitive. How on earth is Loma supposed to use his offense there, how does he get into Spence and trade? It's a key part of Loma's game, similar to how it's a key part of Mikey's game. Mikey had SOME gap to overcome, but it was just about within reason. It doesn't matter who you are, nobody can overcome a 6 and a half inch reach advantage at the lower weights, not a chance in hell.

i dont think anyone 130 down beats loma. i dont think anyone 140 down beats mikey. i dont think anyone 147 down beats crawford... except spence.

loma has no business fighting spence, he said so when they asked about mikey-spence, he referenced loma-rigo. loma was more intelligent, mikey was more hutzpah.
