as mikeys biggest fan here, possibly, but not necessarily. i think this just showed how good spence really is, i still favor mikey over anyone 140 down.

Thats a hard one to call for me because I think Cotto is susceptible to a powerful sharp shooter like Mikey. But... its hard not seeing Cotto simply being too good and too versatile for Garcia overall.

How do you think Mikey does against Pac? Will the counterpunching flummox Pac?

Have you guys forgotten that Cotto took Margarito (with bricks), took on canelo in a close fight, beat Martinez, beat Mosley and was a punisher at 140.

His career was WAY more impressive than Mikey's, both in terms of resume and the eye test.

not anymore. i had mikey beating pac before, but spence exposed mikeys weakness. if you can hurt him, or score and keep from getting hurt yourself, from the out side, you can beat him. pac can do that. but, pac likes to get into multi punch exchanges, and mikey has the advantage there. i think its a toss up right now.
i think spence-pac plays out similarly. pacs money shot, the straight left, loses effectiveness against a southpaw with spences footwork.

prime for prime, its a toss up. right now, spence by wide.
spence would stop margarito, and probably outpoint cotto, although a tko is very possible.

Just no, there's levels to this game. Pac and Floyd showed a level above all their rivals. When Pac and Floyd fought Cotto, Canelo, Margarito, Mosley, Clottey, Hatton, all guys on similar levels, they beat them so comfortably like they were a level above.

Spence hasn't shown any of that, he went even money with Kell Brook.

And no way Spence stops a prime Margarito, in fact a prime Margarito that beat down Cotto may very well have broken down Spence.

And lol at him outpointing Cotto, Cotto beat Martinez up and went evens with Canelo (I had it a draw and so did many others), both of whom would fcuk Spence up.

You guys must have forgot how good the previous era was.

i dont know what to tell you. spence would also ko maidana, castillo, clottey, berto, ortiz, guerrero, bradley, rios, old dlh, and would give a prime one a run for his money.

Based on what? Being able to not KO Mikey? Please, Clottey is bigger than Spence and has an iron chin, he aint doing **** to him. That would probably be a slug fest.

Stylistically he could stop Maidana, he would not stop Guerrero, wouldnt stop a prime Rios, wouldn't stop a prime Bradley, would stop Berto, Castillo and Ortiz as Castillo was too small and the other 2 was chinny.

And just no on ODLH. ODLH took Floyd to an SD just 11 months prior. He was 35 not 45.

Fact is, a fight between a way past it Pac now vs Spence would be very competitive. I'm pretty sure the Pac that fought Cotto would stop or decision Spence.
