Slightly different situation. Fury's choice while clearly disappointing was obviously motivated by money. Unless Wilder is being offered a deal with Showtime for money that dwarfs what he would make with DAZN then it's not really comparable. Wilder at the moment looks like he is choosing to make far less money and not fight Joshua, based on what we know it seems like a duck.

But I guess we'll find out on Tuesday as they are apparently making an announcement then about Wilder's next move.

If Wilder turns down the deal, Fury is the big winner. He'll be the only meaningful opponent left for both AJ and Wilder. He'll be in a great position to get good terms. Wilder on the other hand will be up **** creek. He'll have to fight Fury to be in any way relevant and if he loses that fight, which is quite likely, he'll be all but done.

And if Fury does chose Wilder instead of AJ or if he beats AJ first and then goes for Wilder, Deontay will make good money but Fury will be the one in the best negotiating position, especially if he comes off a win against AJ.

And if Fury fights Joshua and loses, Wilder will be in a very bad position negotiating a fight with AJ.

In either case he won't make the money he's being offered right now, not even close. And if he loses his title in just a run of the mill defense he's totally out of the loop. At his age, he won't have much time to turn it around either.

So to turn down this deal would be absolute madness in short. You wouldn't expect such things to happen, but apparently Broner turned down 40 mil? That seems almost as crazy.

Hearns LAST offer was for guaranteed 28 million in the first fight.

The second fight was minimum of 30% ( we'll go by 50% since you think Wilder wins . lol ) ..

So those two fights are at LEAST equal to about 80 million .

See if you could actually think for yourself and add, its basically the same deal Skipper offered minus the 20 million Breazeale fight.

So you call this one ducking should he decline it but not the last offer which is the SAME amount using the projection of 100 million dollar fight ,which BOTH parties know it goes over that in a rematch so he actually would make more under Hearns deal since its a % not flat fee..but now rejects a Breazeale 20 million fight where he may get knocked out and risk it? ..DUCKER Wilder is to dumb ,no wonder you support him. lol

Wilders been ducking and planned on ducking even before negotiations officially started last year letting people know he demanded 50% when making 1. 4 million a fight on average., Foolish Boy..lol ! :eaea:

I can't be bothered to to reply with your ridiculous ******ed childish posts.

You live in Joshua's bum, that much we do know.

So there is no point trying to reason with you on anything.

    Sure you do.

Just enjoy the fight tonight, or wait until thursday until we hear the developments then we can have a proper discussion about the possible options going forward for both Wilder and Joshua.

Until then there is no point saying for certain one way or another whether Wilder has rejected or accepted a DAZN deal.

Goading me into getting into a fanboy argument with you isn't going to work, at least not tonight.

His mindset is understandable now. The longer Wilder holds the WBC belt hostage, the bigger the offers he expects from Joshua. What is $100m now when he could get more in a few years, without expending much effort.

The Wilder Vs Joshua fight died on 29th April 2017

Deontay Wilder sat at ringside and saw Joshua’s heart, power and skills, from that point forward Wilder was never stepping into the ring with AJ.

Everything afterwards has been posturing, posing and pure manipulation with the goal being to save as much face as possible, in that sense they’ve done a good job of hiding the truth but “The truth will out” eventually.
