What is Morales trying to say, if he were from Mexico he would beat Spence, but since he is Mexican American he will not?

 

I think that's what he wants to say, but he didn't say it openly to save him from embarassment if the fight goes the other way...

Erik Morales would F'ing destroy Mikey. Just completely different levels of fighters.

Also Morales would have been knocked out by Spence. Because unlike Mikey, Morales wouldn't dance and move and survive against the bigger man. He would come straight at Spence and try and tear his damn head off.

Also, you think Morales would price himself out of Loma fight? Like Mikey did?
No way, Morales would never, EVER, EVER turn down Loma. And then he would have beat Lomas ass all over the ring.

 

Are both his parents fully fledged Mexicans? Surely that makes him Mexican?

Or is it a case of He's a Mexican if he wins and just an American if he loses?

We have that here with Andy Murray, he was just a Scottish twat until he won Wimbledon and became a Great British Hero!

 

I don’t really think it would have been a great fight. I think morales tears Mikey apart. Mikey is very fundamentally sound. He’s got very good timing. Not GREAT but good. Mikey is not fast of foot or hand. He is a very balanced very well schooled fighter but he’s not the classic Mexican warrior type and he’s just not very dynamic. Morales was a great fighter. Better than Mikey in every regard. Way I see it anyway.

 

I think the fat old morales who came back n gave maidana a run for his money woulda put in more of an effort last night than Garcia did.

 

Its a hard fight for Loma, Morales himself was special, but the matrix pulls away late for a UD. I could see Morales losing his head when Loma turns up the tempo in close with angles, he could be moody, and unlike some of the quitters Loma has out classed and made quit, he wouldn't quit, he would get angry as **** and that's when Loma is safe in the fight to dismantle him a bit for a points win
