This is built of the Trinidad comment in McVey's thread but it should be pretty self explanatory Best Lead hooks outside of Heavy weight for a mix of speed, Power and structure My worthless 2 cents 1. Kid Gavalin 2. Sugar Ray Robinson 3. Tony Zale 4. Roberto Duran 5. Julio Cesar Chavez
I had Roy Jones, but I took him out for Chavez. They he threw it left him open so I didn't put him, but he could bang
Not to much on him that I know of..there's some footage on youtube and some great articles written about him and how he fought .. He was a master at controlling distance. A safety first fighter who was very patient and would wait for openings and often come in with a hook. He really wasn't a combo puncher but he fought of the back foot extremely well and would counter when his opponent was off balance or open. He kept his weight over his right foot, head off center and back with the right side sunk down. This brought up his left shoulder which made his left a formidable weapon. Since his head was the furthest from his opponents right hand, you had to basically get through his left side first. He was hard to catch clean, power in both gloves .. Anyway that's my take on him
