Very poor in my book. 2018 was quite strong in comparison.

Seems like Promoters and Fighters are getting more risk averse. So many "champions" taking easy fights. 2019 has basically been the year of the "warm up fight"

Probably it's not that 2019 is a poor year, but that 2018 was an exceptionally good one.

Nothing wrong with 2019, it already has had some excellent fights and will be a great year.

The year is going to turn in part whether any of the AJ/Wilder/Fury fights happen. If not, it can't be but so good.

Yeah, all of the main events are mismatches and tune-ups or WORSE (Pulev-Dinu) until Rungvisai-Estrada II on April 26th, at which point things pick up w/ the WBSS and the Canelo-Jacobs fight.

Promoters are not seeing the big picture... putting short-term security over the long-term growth of the sport.

Its only been a couple of months... Lets see how the year plays out!!!

Canelo vs Jacobs is a top fight
    Hurd/JROCK/Charlo/Harrison is a nice tournament
    So is WBSS, not shabby

Could be a good year tbh

I like it so far, good domestic scrap in Degale-Eubank, pound for pound match ups with Garcia-Spence. Also it's scheduled for some great fights, Canelo vs Jacobs, Usyk's fighting and Crawford vs Khan is sure to be entertaining

    Andrade Vs bums
    Pacquiao Vs Broner
    Spence Vs Midget Garcia
Lomachenko Vs Corolla (mandatory but still awful)
Farmer, Tank, Berchelt all ducking eachother
    Leo Santa Cruz Vs Rivera

We've had some great stuff, Tanaka vs Taguchi being among it. Depends on what you're looking at.

Think the wbss will elevate it abit add to that the canelo v Jacobs fight( I cannot wait for that)
Bored of the Joshua/wilder/fury situation so not even bothered about that probably take the full year of promo to get me bothered again(that's only half true)
Iam not even bothered if the stars align at ww as long as Crawford/Spence/Thurman make the next best fights, but Spence v pman is not one I want to see think it's a step to far for pac.
The thing that is the worry for me is that cards like last night can be accepted.
It wasn't just the miss matching the full production was horrible, the sound quality the commentary, the vomit inducing background music in the round breaks was just awful it was like being on hold, I got it free on itv4 but I still wasn't happy so I can't imagine paying for that.
Poor cards happen miss matching happens but there's no excuse for production like last night.

Rungvisai-Estrada II is great. Jacobs-Canelo is excellent.

The big boys need to mingle though.

Maybe it's been horrible to give us Canelo-GGG III & Wilder-AJ in September.

At this rate seems like a pipe dream.
Seems like 2019 is gonna be a marinate type of year.
