Edwards said he isn't pressing any charges it wouldn't have been a good look if he did but I guess he had to learn the hard way Masvidal don't play hehe
How can he press charges? He came at Jorge in an aggressive manor. Been in that same situation hundreds of times. If the aggressor is in range and you feel threatened you are able to defend yourself.
Bad boy attitude to me, thinks hes better than he is and got ko'd by a good fighter but one who looked a division smaller..A guarantee this will be the story of his career, getting wrecked by more humble fighters and looking stupid
He was a hype job. People should watch the actual action rather than listen to what Rogan and his bum buddy's are reading from the script. Bisping has retired and they need a Brit fighter to fly the flag. Till isn't the one. Leon Edwards was far more impressive and has much more potential than Till ever did. Needs to get over to the states and start training with a top gym to take his game to championship level. Stick Till in with Pearson next he will teach him a thing or two.
Till went out in the second and completely ignored his corner, where were the kicks they asked for ? he got over confident and sloppy, if he'd kept it at distance he could have finished Masvidal
Till had the wrong strategy as it was. I knew masvidal was gonna stop him as soon as I heard the interview where he said he sat back to much against Thompson and Woodley. Tills only chance to beat an inshape and healthy masvidal was to slow down the fight, make it boring, and go to the cards and get a robbery dec.
I don't believe he would have a leg to stand on in regards to charges I was just responding to your comments about it being hard to prove assault based on the video
Fair play to Masvidal. Edwards seems to make me dislike him a more every single time he talks. Masvidal is as street as they come. Had to laugh at Edwards screaming “assault” when he instigated it. Doesn’t seem the sharpest knife in the drawer. Masvidal beats him if they meet.
Better chance of masvidal getting usman. Woodley usman was boring. They can’t afford to have 2 boring fights in a row for usman. They can and will and have always done whatever they want in matchmaking.
I was watching a video on Helwanis twitter of an old interview with Mavidal saying he has a big reputation for throwing the 1st shot in situations like last night but I'm guessing Edwards obv. didn't get the memo LOL
Also saw that. It was more about him having a big rep for having a nasty cheap shot, not the first shot ;-)
I was going to write cheap shot which is what it is called but in these real life situations he was talking about, having this kind of rep is a good thing because your not going to have people stepping to you unless they are ready to throw down as they know he won't **** around, cheap shot itself can be somebody taking shots from behind or when they not looking which is why I wanted to say 1st shot in case it wasn't clear what I meant.
Till's size is pretty much the only thing he has going for him at 170. He'll fade into obscurity once Dana forces him to move up to 185 and fight people his own size.
In the buildup to this fight, Till was banging the drum for an Anfield stadium fight against Conor (who walks around at 30-35lbs less than Till does) at some point. Maybe Till could also fight Artem as a tune-up for that.
