That's a little funny to be honest.

The first time he felt he was in a fight, was the time he never was in the fight at all.

But still much props to him for taking such a great risk.

Too bad the complete and total embarrassing undressing that awaits him at the hands of Lomachenko, someone his own size, will send him into a deeper depression, and completely rob him of his remaining confidence, saying no mas does that to a person. He'll sadly retire immediately following it, and turn to training like his brother Robert.

I'll feel for him, I really like Mikey.

he whooped salidos ass. i know if i was mikey in that fight, i would be thinking "im kicking the crap out this guy". just like spence was thinking about mikey last night. salido was no fight for mikey and mikey was no fight for spence.

Every time Mikey knocked Salido down, Salido got up hitting harder and faster. By the time Mikey's nose got broke I thought it looked like he was being overwhelmed and they were glad to take the easy out. That fight was on it's way to being a classic like Archie Moore vs Durrelle 1. Just like the Lomachenko fight, Salido wouldn't stick to the script.

Except for the money I can't figure out why he took this fight. If it was about proving he is great then he should have gone for it abit more he just came in there to survive, I do think he did well to absorb the beating he did and showed a tremendous chin/resilience but this fight was a waste of time for the fans imo.

Salido probably didnt land a punch in the final rd of that fight and was slowing down himself. I think it's wishful thinking that he'd do something big later when the entire fight garcia was never caught by a flush punch.

I'm sure he knew he was in a fight against Salido.......Mikey still has some good fights to make at JWW and LW. Hopefully, his hubris filled excursion has taught him something. He'll match well against pretty much everyone, Loma will dominate him though.

Mikey... Please don't embarrass yourself any further. You walked through hell to beat Lipinets and Broner put a small beating on you in the late rounds.
