Gary Russell tried using angles with limited success. I believe the type of guy to best Loma would be a Ray Mancini type, pressure, pressure, pressure put it on him make it a dog fight take away all that experience. I don't believe you are gonna beat him boxing on the outside.

on the inside is just as bad with him, he spins and attacks , he opens them up in close like no other. Whatever distance your at with him he will still give you them lighting angles. The Salido fight is misleading, he really would've done a number on him in another fight or two Loma, he was a round away from stopping him anyways when they fought

 

Oh i agree it would be trouble on the inside but in order to beat an experience fighter you have to make a war out of it. Make it dirty, keep the punches coming. You try to outbox a boxer your gonna get schooled, best chance it to try to make it a dog fight. Via Iran Barkley, Ray Mancini, or what Carmen Basilo did when he beat the great Sugar Ray Robinson at Middleweight while moving up in weight!

Listen, in lockup when you get turned out then everyone wants a piece. Just throwin' that booty up in the air. He needs to be removed from cellblock WELTERWEIGHT and go into solitary at 140lbs. If he comes to 135lbs he's gonna have to give up some booty. That's it and that's all.

Im praying Haymon cashes him out and forces him down to 135lbs on ESPN. Otherwise i fear his remains may be fed to Danny Garcia or Thurman next

Salido had a shitty start, but by the end his figures were double and triple what they were in the early rounds and he was connecting almost as much as Garcia. With four more rounds and Salido's crazy engine, anything is possible.
